About the role

The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day administration of the Design department and support the design office with duties such as printing project packs for production and site, issuing approval drawings to customers, and liaising with them to ensure project timelines are maintained. This position is varied and offers a great opportunity to grow in a busy and exciting time in the construction industry.
Offering attractive hours: Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 5.30pm Friday 8.30am – 3pm
Full training will be given.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
  • Excellent IT skills, including email and MS Office suite
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Self-motivated with an ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills with great attention to detail
  • Great communication skills
  • You must have your own transport

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Providing support to the Operation and Design department managers
  • Preparing drawings files for designers, production, and contracts departments
  • Logging changes and other small jobs with designers
  • Issue purchase orders for external design functions
  • Logging monthly timesheets for designers
  • Preparing reports – ability to gather and analyse data and good with figures
  • Order Stationary
  • Filing and archiving
  • Attend weekly planning and scheduling meetings
  • Ensuring the smooth flow of information between relevant departments.
  • Additional general admin & ad-hoc duties as and when required

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Depending on Experience. €25,000 – €30,000
