The HR & ESG Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support across the employee lifecycle while also supporting the organisation’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting and compliance activities.
This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate HR records, supporting recruitment and onboarding processes, coordinating employee administration activities, and assisting with the collection, organisation and reporting of ESG-related data. The position will also provide reception and telephone cover as required to ensure smooth day-to-day business operations.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working with confidential information and data across multiple business functions.
Full training, coaching, and mentoring will be provided by experienced leaders, with clear opportunities to progress as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities include
Human Resources Administration
• Provide end-to-end HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle.
• Maintain employee records and HR information systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with GDPR requirements.
• Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, probation documentation and employee correspondence.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Support recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, scheduling interviews and candidate communications.
• Administer employee changes including promotions, salary amendments, transfers and contractual updates.
• Track probation periods, visa requirements, training records and other employee documentation.
• Support payroll administration by preparing and validating employee data
• Maintain absence, annual leave and employee benefits records.
• Assist with HR reporting and management information requirements.
• Support employee engagement, wellbeing and training initiatives.
• Ensure HR policies, procedures and records remain up to date.
ESG Administration & Reporting Support
• Provide administrative support for ESG reporting activities and sustainability initiatives.
• Assist with the collection, validation and maintenance of ESG-related data from across the business.
• Support the preparation of reports required under applicable ESG reporting frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate requests for ESG information from internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain ESG documentation, evidence files and reporting records.
Assist in monitoring ESG targets, actions and key perform ance indicators.
• Support the preparation of information required for audits, assurance activities and compliance reviews.
• Work with colleagues across departments to gather environmental, social and governance data.
• Assist in tracking legislative and reporting developments relevant to ESG compliance.
• Support sustainability projects and initiatives as required.
Reception & General Administration
• Provide reception and switchboard cover during holidays, absences and peak periods.
• Answer and direct telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist with general office administration duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
• Previous experience in an HR administration, office administration or business support role.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience maintaining confidential records and handling sensitive information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong data management and reporting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Desirable
• CIPD qualification or equivalent HR qualification.
• Experience using HR Information Systems.
• Experience supporting ESG, sustainability, compliance or reporting activities.
• Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and sustainability reporting requirements.
• Experience supporting audits, compliance activities or data collection projects.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent, fully on-site
Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8.30am – 5.30pm, Friday: 8.30am – 3.00pm
