Last Sunday at 6:30pm on RTÉ One, viewers joined Baz and the DIY SOS Ireland team as they travelled to Clarecastle for a truly special transformation.

That week’s build was for 13-year-old Franek, a happy, loving boy who was severely disabled and depended entirely on the incredible care of his family — his mum and dad, Tanya and Val, his twin brother Antoni, and older brother Tom.

We were so proud that this marked the 11th build for Cygnum , working alongside an amazing community of local volunteers and tradespeople who once again came together to make something extraordinary happen.

It was projects like this that reminded us what teamwork, compassion, and community spirit could achieve.
